Jennifer White

Arizona Secular Leader
Camp Quest AZ

Jennifer (she, her) has been volunteering at CQAZ on top of Mingus Mountain, above Prescott, since CQAZ's inaugural summer in 2013. She soon joined the board of directors as Treasurer and also became Program Director. It's been a labor of love for 10 years.

Jennifer studied Fine Art at ASU (1973–1978) and now teaches at Scottsdale Artists' School/Youth Academy. Through the school, she also teaches in the community, including at Scottsdale public libraries and schools, Phoenix Center for the Arts, Dementia Care Center, and First Place (for young adults with intellectual challenges). Jennifer is also a muralist and street chalk artist.

Jennifer just retired from the Board of Directors of the Humanist Society of Greater Phoenix (HSGP) as Communications Director. She continues to be very active with HSGP, especially with their growing number of service outreach programs including the Little Free Library and Little Free Pantry at the Humanist Center, and helping ASU Project Humanities' Service Saturdays, for folks who are unhoused.

She was a founding board member of Americans United for Separation of Church & State, Greater Phoenix Chapter, and also of AZ Resistors, a grassroots political organization. She has been active with and supportive of Secular AZ, Project Roots, and now with East Valley NAACP, which holds their regular meetings at the HSGP Humanist Center.
